Pikesville Animal Hospital is excited to have Dori Bryan, Master Groomer, as part of our staff. We now offer complete grooming services including show quality grooming according to breed standards, the latest styles, or just your personal preferences! Grooming can include Carding, a premier shed-less treatment, which leaves a better looking pet and a lot less hair to clean up in the subsequent weeks. In addition to general grooming, we will also offer spa services such as moisturizing hot oil treatments, luxurious aqua massaging baths, pedicures, and blueberry-vanilla facials using all natural, high quality products (sorry, pets only). Dori will be available to clients Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 4 pm.

Dori, originally a native of Baltimore, has over 20 years experience in veterinary hospitals, principally as the head groomer. Along with her experience in showing, Dori’s expertise in grooming, hand scissoring, and coat conditioning has brought many working breeds to their championship status. Dori is passionate in providing your pet a positive, enjoyable experience as we focus on the health, comfort, and well being of your pet.

Now that she has returned to Baltimore, we are pleased that Dori is part of  Pikesville Animal Hospital. We pride ourselves in our professionalism and personal service and are happy to have found a groomer with the same ideals. Grooming Services

Each full grooming includes:  2 shampoos, conditioning treatment, hand fluff drying, styling and hand scissor finish, nail trim, anal glands expressed, ear cleaning, ear hair plucking (if breed appropriate), and a bandanna or bows. Please note that spa services, specialty shampoos, carding, and  the Ultimate Spa Package are additional fees.

Spa Services - For  Pampering and Rejuvenation

Facial : A blueberry—vanilla foaming facial treatment that hydrates, exfoliates, cleanses, and brightens tear stains. Leaves your pet with a great smelling face!                             

Hot Oil Treatment :  A  luxurious deep conditioning treatment  for skin and coat.  Moisturizes and helps to control dry skin, damaged skin, dander,  and restores shine and manageability.                                                                                                                  

PET” -i - Cure :  Nails trimmed and polished to perfection: $20. With any grooming service: $10.

Specialty Shampoos

Aloe Bluing Shampoo : Optically brightens and enhances any color of coat. Contains aloe vera to help soothe and moisturize skin and coat.

Colloidal Oatmeal Shampoo  :  Soothing soap free oatmeal cleansing shampoo formulated with Omega-6 fatty acids for replenishment of the skin and coat. Provides relief  from itchy, flaky, and irritated skin.

Hypoallergenic Shampoo : Gentle coconut and aloe Vera, hypoallergenic, and soap-free shampoo that contains essential fatty acids and protein that  moisturizes, hydrates, and nourishes the skin and coat.

Plum Silky Shampoo :  A fragrant fruity shampoo that contains aloe Vera and silk proteins that enhance the coats texture, condition, and manageability. This shampoo leaves a brilliant sheen.

 

Our shampoos and conditioners are made up of the best natural ingredients, all of which are non-toxic, biodegradable, and cruelty free.

Carding - A Shed-Less Treatment : Carding is a specialty technique that uses  a  combination of de-shedding and hand stripping tools to remove undercoat, which can prevent shedding for up to 4 –6 weeks. This technique creates a smoother appearance , enhances the coat color, and creates a vibrant top coat. Price varies on a pet by pet basis.

The Ultimate Spa Package

An indulgent spa bath that includes a soothing, a hydrating soak in a specialty shampoo that caters to your dog’s specific needs, a hot  oil treatment, a facial, and a finishing spray.
